Madison Callaway is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. She graduated with a degree in Theatre Performance with a minor in Public Relations. She is passionate about working with children, missions and theatre. Since graduating from college, she has made three trips to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Ghana, Africa, where she taught classes and served as a mentor to the young children there. Prior to joining Dallas Academy, Madison worked for several years at a private foster care agency in OKC. From these experiences and others, she decided to pursue her teaching career through Texas Teachers Alternative Certification program.
She will be teaching 8th Grade English Literature and Grammar/Composition. Madison is so excited about sharing her love of reading and Harry Potter with her kids this year.
In the summers, she loves to perform in community theatre and is currently teaching a children’s musical theater class at Footlights Dance Studio.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her miniature Australian Shepherd, Cassian. She loves to travel, but when she cannot get away, she escapes through her love of literature! Madison also loves baseball and is a lifelong fan of the Texas Rangers! It’s going to be an amazing year at Dallas Academy!
