Lattner Family Library » Home

Dallas Academy is home to the Lattner Family Library. The Lattner Library provides students a warm and welcoming atmosphere to read, study, and practice research skills. The Lattner Library houses over five thousand volumes, two tutoring labs, and twenty-four laptop workstations. Students also have access to online research tools such as World Book Online and Noodle Tools. Dallas Academy Lattner Lower Students also participate in the annual Scholastic Book Fair when elementary and middle school students are invited to peruse the variety of selections available for purchase. In addition to the annual book fair, Dallas Academy parent volunteers recently implemented the Bulldog Book Club. Parents and family members are invited to donate a book to the library in honor of a special child in their life. By donating a book through the Bulldog Book Club, you will support our library by adding a book chosen from our Amazon Wish List, and provide your child with the opportunity to give the gift of reading to our school in celebration of their big day. If you choose to participate in the BBC, your gift book will have a special book plate inside the front jacket with your child’s name on it. Each month we will have a presentation for all of the donors, and your child will receive a gift bag with their book, as well as a Bulldog Book Club bookmark and pencil. They will have the opportunity to be the first one to check the book out, and then return it to the library.

We welcome you to visit the Lattner Family Library to see all of the exciting events taking place!
