Ange Hale started her journey at Dallas Academy in 2004. For the first four years she taught Computer Applications, Technology Systems, and PC Basic classes as well as being administrator to gradebook program and the school network and computers. Since the expansion of the school and the increase to over one hundred computers, she has moved to full time Technology Director. Ms. Hale graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. She worked as a programmer at Texas Instruments for several years before leaving to raise a family. She later taught Computer Applications classes to 1st through 8th grade at St. Pius X for five years, was the administrator to the computer network, and also coached a co-ed volleyball team before coming to Dallas Academy. Ms. Hale is also a Master Teacher for the Intel Teach to the Future program.
Ms. Hale started playing competitive volleyball in high school and continues to play even today. In June, 2011, Ms. Hale's senior team played in the National Senior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas and lost in the silver medal division. In August,2012, Ms. Hale's senior team played in the New Mexico State qualifying games and won the silver medal in her division and qualified to attend the Ohio senior nationals.
