Allison Albani is a graduate from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting and a minor in Psychology. After college, she spent two years studying Spanish at ITESM (Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) in Monterrey, Mexico while performing Christian missionary work. Soon after her return to the U.S., Miss Albani received her teaching certificate in both Art and Spanish from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Miss Albani has been teaching at Dallas Academy since 1999, and currently serves as the sponsor for the Dallas Academy chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Senior Retreat Activities Coordinator and head of Character Education.
While at DA, in addition to her Spanish, Finance and Career courses, Miss Albani has taught various electives such as Ethics, Humanities, Psychology, Geography, Math, Speech/Health, History and Study Skills.
Miss Albani maintains fluency in Spanish by participating in regular mission trips and leisure travel to various Spanish-speaking countries such as Guatemala, Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Spain. Her interests include travel, country and salsa dancing, serving in the community, and growing in her faith.
