Aftercare Programs

Students attend class from 8:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. in lower school and 8:30 to 3:00 p.m. in middle and high school daily. In addition to numerous after school clubs, athletics, and tutoring opportunities, Dallas Academy provides a structured aftercare program for students whose parents are unable to pick their child at the end of the academic day.
  • Lower school students not picked up by 3:05 p.m. will be sent to aftercare. Lower school after-school services include an optional study hall until 3:45 p.m. and extended care until 5:00 p.m. The Lower School Study Hall and Extended Care Program Coordinator is Ashley Thomas and she can be reached at athomas@dallas-academy.com.
  • Middle and high school students not picked up by 3:30 p.m. will be sent to aftercare. Middle and High School services include an after school study hall until 4:45 p.m. The Middle and High School Study Hall Program Coordinator is Jenni Brock and she can be reached at jbrock@dallas-academy.com.
Any student not enrolled in an after-school sport, club, or tutoring and who is not picked up by their release time, will be required to attend an aftercare program. All aftercare programs are available at an additional fee. Students will not be allowed to be on campus unsupervised after 3:15 p.m. Aftercare opportunities will vary on early release days. Questions can be addressed to the aftercare program coordinators.
