The Dallas Academy Parents Club (DAPC)
The DAPC is the parent group which supports the student activities at Dallas Academy. The DAPC is dedicated to fostering the academic and personal growth and success of Dallas Academy students by providing volunteer and financial support. DAPC supports academic activities, social and special clubs, and athletic programs for the benefit of the students. By collaborating with the Dallas Academy trustees, administration, faculty, and staff, the DAPC seeks to continuously improve the Dallas Academy learning environment to allow all students to achieve at their highest level.
The DAPC is a volunteer-run, inclusive organization that encourages active parent participation and frequent communication with volunteers and board members. DAPC supports a mutually beneficial, supportive relationship with the Board of Trustees, administration, faculty and staff.
Parents automatically become members of the DAPC when their children are enrolled at Dallas Academy. Membership dues are included as part of the registration fees however membership upgrades are available to provide additional support for the DAPC.
There are many fun and rewarding opportunities for the DAPC volunteers including the Prom and Homecoming committees, the DAwg Run, and serving pizza to the students on Mondays.
The DAPC is always looking for parents who want to volunteer and help enrich their children's experience at Dallas Academy. Follow us in the DAPC facebook group and feel free to contact members of the DAPC Executive Board with any questions
